It's not the Affordable Care Act, the current law of the land, that needs "repeal and replacement." It's the wrong-headed, now openly greedy Republican Party, urged on by its mentally questionable president, Donald J. Trump.
The floundering president appears to have no clue as to the wrongness of this latest stab at his vengeance-driven attempt to destroy President Obama's image and presidency. Trump's obsessive need is to hit back "10 times harder" for any affront to him. It's our nation's time he's wasting on his vengeance needs that's becoming very alarming.
Trump will never be satisfied regarding his revenge against President Obama. After five years pushing his false birth certificate crusade, Trump appeared at the National Press Dinner as did President Obama. There had been no apology from Trump to Obama (Trump never apologizes for his many misdeeds), so Obama, as the honored guest at the dinner, gave Trump some light banter in putting him down. Right then and there Trump decided to run for president and enact his revenge.
On Dec. 8, 2003, George W. Bush signed the MMA (Medication Prescription Drug Improvement & Modernization Act) with Democratic input in the House and unanimous consent by the Senate. Today, some Republicans see the value of keeping the law of the land, the ACA, and improving it by joining and working with the Democrats.
All other industrial nations of the world have a sane medical plan, and so should America. Wake up, Republicans, and make American great again.
