Re: your April 14 article, "Rubio courts new GOP generation":
Sen. Marco Rubio entered the presidential race saying he's offering the nation a younger generation of leadership that breaks free of ideas "stuck in the 20th century."
When looking at Rubio's voting record, you'll know that he's definitely stuck in the GOP 20th century: When it comes to normalization with Cuba, the vast members of the younger Cuban-American generation want normalization, and Rubio doesn't as he sticks to the over 50-year-old, tired policy with no good results.
On immigration, Rubio presented a bill to the Senate that was shot down by the Republicans, causing him to withdraw his own bill. Rubio is against the Affordable Care Act and wants the health care bill to be struck down and offers nothing to replace it.
He's against the increase of the minimum wage, when he majority of Americans are for it. As to global warming, Rubio has stated: "I'm not a scientist, but ...," implying he doesn't believe in what 97 percent of the world's scientists believe.
All these negatives prove Rubio and the GOP are very "yesterday" and "stuck in the 20th century."
