Re: “Twitter tantrums convey weakness” of January 11, 2017
Pulitzer Prize winning columnist Eugene Robinson really pointed out the true motives for President Elect Donald J. Trump’s Tweeting. Whenever there’s an attack on him, or any media person, any newspaper who speaks ill of him or any negative thing about him, he will tweet an angry reply. He even attacked his buddy, Ben Carson, when the good Doctor ranked higher in the polls than Trump.
In layman’s language this is called ‘misdirection’ as used by magicians. As the dictionary will tell you, ‘misdirection’ is an “Inaccurate, misleading, wrong instruction or guidance. Trump’s tweets are used by him to change the harmful subjects and create confusion.
When the poor Appalachian coal miners learn that they are off the recalled Affordable Care Act and there’s nothing to replace it, good luck to them with Black Lung disease. Or the approximately 30 million people whose Medicaid and Medicare will be defunct with nothing to replace it ... they’ll start to realize, along with the rest of the Trump voters, that he is no better than a snake oil salesman. Even Trump’s Wall. Who’s going to pay for it? We the People.
